i recently did the cover for the september issue of the miniature music press, how exciting! apart from the scanned background, which i then made into a ripped look map, it’s all digital, which is a rare thing for me to do. i would love to/wish i could afford to get a graphics tablet so i could broaden my skills on the digital front. i’m guess i’m pretty good with photoshop (always more to learn though!), but i think having a graphics tablet would open up my creativity a little more and probably encourage me to use actual pens and such more too. never a bad thing!
(i’ve been meaning to take photos of these for a while to show everyone. i’ve got a couple more exciting pieces coming up very soon too, so when i get copies, i shall of course put them up. there’s a little bit of anticipation to keep you coming back!)

also, i was recently asked to do a piece for the spanish clift zine. the colour scheme was black, white and pantone 3262 U. this appealed to me for two reasons. 1) turquoise is one of my favourite colours and 2) having a limited colour palette is a bit of a challenge for me as i am quite obsessive over colours and find it rather difficult to limit myself sometimes.
i have very minimal understanding of spanish, but there are some wonderful illustrations in there, so you should check it out, and buy a copy! you can also follow them on facebook.
